FAQ.

When can I make a booking?

Liz will open her books on the 8th of September 2024 for appointments in late 2024 early 2025.

Liz’s books open recurrently for two days. This date will be advertised in advance on social media and you will be able to access and submit the booking form on this website.

Liz’s books are currently closed.

How can I make a booking?

You can only make a booking by filling out and submitting the form on the "book in with Liz" page on this website while the books are open. You can not make a booking with Liz in the shop or over the phone.

How far in advance is Liz booked out?

Liz is usually booked out for 3-6 months year-round.

Where is Liz located?

Liz works permanently out of Foxen Tattoo Parlour in the Blue Mountains at 157 Macquarie Rd, Springwood.

How much is a deposit?

The price of deposit depends on the length of your appointment.
It’s $300 for a full day (8 hours) and $100 for all shorter appointments. When an appointment offer is sent, you’ll be asked to pay your deposit. This is payable through Foxen only and can be done via paypal (we’ll send you a link), or over-the-phone with Foxen.

You have three days to make this payment or your appointment offer will be forfeited. Your deposit is refundable/transferrable but only with a minimum of 72 hours notice of your booked appointment time. If you cancel or move your appointment within those three days we will not refund your deposit. Your deposit comes off the total price of the tattoo on the day of your appointment.

Where can I make a booking?

The only way you can make a booking is by filling out the form on the "book in with Liz" page on this website while the books are open. You can not make a booking with Liz in the shop or over the phone, even on the day that the books are open.

When will I see my design?

You will be able to see your design on the day of your booking.

Liz and I spoke about the plans for my next tattoo during our last session. Do I still need to submit the form?

Yes, please fill out the entire form as thoroughly as possible whenever making an enquiry. Let’s just say Liz’s tattooing skills are stronger than her administrative ones. Liz will read over your appointment enquiry as your date approaches to prepare for your session so the better your description, the better your design outcome and the better your tattoo.
Please be advised that “working on my leg sleeve” is not a good description.

I want to cancel my appointment, but can my friend come in my place?

No. We will be happy to refund your deposit as long as you have given us at least 72 hours notice and Liz will fill the place at her discretion.

I have ongoing work in mind. Can I book multiple sessions?

Yes! This is definitely a good idea for larger pieces so that you can ensure you don’t miss out and have to wait. Sessions need to be a minimum of a month apart so that your tattoo has enough time to heal properly. Ongoing work includes leg/arm sleeves and larger pieces requiring multiple sessions to complete. It does not include any piece that can be finished in one session.

I sent my design at 12.01am. Why didn’t I get a spot?

Appointments aren’t booked on a first-in-best-dressed basis. After the booking page closes, Liz goes through every single submission and selects pieces to fill the appointments based on which ever ones she feels will best represent the direction she wants to take her art. The tattoos the best resonate with Liz’s style and interests are the ones that will get priority.

Are there any tattoos Liz wont do?

There are some tattoos that Liz will no longer do, simply because you wont get the best result for your tattoo if you book with her. Any design that is mostly geometric content or script will not be considered. Liz is happy to recommend other local tattooists that specialize in these styles.
